Het huis is zeer centraal gelegen voor diverse stedentrips zoals Antwerpen en Gent, op 30 autominuten van de Zeeuwse kust. In de omgeving zijn er mooie fiets- en wandelroutes. Met diverse toprestaurants heeft Zeeuws-Vlaanderen ook veel te bieden op culinair gebied. In Terneuzen vind je een subtropisch zwembad en voor de wintersportliefhebbers een skihal. Bij het huis is veel speelruimte voor de kinderen. Van mei tot september (afhankelijk van het weer) kun je genieten in het zwembad. Er is WiFi in het huis aanwezig.
