The entire length of the island is crossed by the rue Saint-Louis en l'île. The island is within walking distance of many of Paris's major attractions: the Centre Pompidou, the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Gardens, Notre-Dame Church and the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain des Prés, Bastille Square and the Marais ... The nearest metro stations are Cité, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, Pont Marie and Sully-Morland. The RER B connects you directly to Paris' two international airports (CDG and Orly).
