The space Köpi 10a is a converted jam preserve factory from the late 19th Century, surrounding a courtyard behind a beautiful listed building in Kreuzberg's 'Wrangelkiez', on the banks of the river Spree. The area was formerly the easternmost district of West Berlin, and you can still see what remains of the Berlin Wall in form of the East Side Gallery on the opposite bank of the river. Home to an eclectic mix of professionals, artists, and creatives from all walks of life, this has, for us, become somewhat of a quiet oasis away from the bustling streets of Berlin. The flat has two bedrooms and one bathroom (with bath and shower), as well as a large communal area and a big terrace. It is equipped with a fully functioning kitchen and all modern 'creature comforts.' It will comfortably house two couples or a family of up to four, with two kids sharing the smaller bedroom. Guest access You will have access to the entire flat, which has its own outside entrance through the courtyard. If you are renting bicycles, you will have a key for the gate to keep them in the courtyard. Other things to note The flat is non-smoking. There is a large terrace with seating for smokers, just please dispose of your cigarette ends in the provided ash trays. The apartment can be completely blacked out with shutters.
