Welcome to this cozy cottage on the outskirts of Gagnef which is located in the southern parts of Dalarna. It´s an older cottage that has been renovated and expanded over the years to offer modern facilities and space for your stay. The cozy cabin is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The old iron stove in the main cabin has been preserved and gives you the opportunity to light a fire on chilly evenings and feel the warmth spread throughout the room. It gives a magical feeling and makes you feel like you are traveling back in time. There are beds for a total of six people and a fresh bathroom equipped with a combined washing machine/dryer. The kitchen is in a semi-open floorplan facing the main cabin and is equipped with for instance a dishwasher. At the back of the cottage you have your private patio and there is also a charcoal grill. You share a plot with the home owner who lives at the same address. The river Dalälven, which goes through Dalarna, is a few hundred meters from the cottage. The area around the cottage has something for everyone regardless of the season. During the summer you can go fishing in one of the nearby lakes or take a hike on one of the many hiking trails in the area. During the winter, there are fantastic possibilities for skiing on the nearby slopes or along the prepared tracks. The cottage is also located in a quiet area and gives you the opportunity to get away from the noise and stress of the city and relax in the fresh air.

Willkommen in diesem gemütlichen Ferienhaus am Stadtrand von Gagnef, im südlichen Teil der Region Dalarna. Das Häuschen stammt aus der Jahrhundertwende, wurde aber im Laufe der Jahre ausgebaut und erweitert, um Ihnen moderne Einrichtungen und Platz für Ihren Aufenthalt zu bieten. Die gemütliche Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigen. Der alte, gusseiserne Holzherd im Haupthaus wurde erhalten und gibt Ihnen die Möglichkeit, an kühlen Abenden ein Feuer anzuzünden und zu spüren, wie sich die Wärme im ganzen Raum ausbreitet. Gemütliche Ess- und Sitzecke im Haus. Es gibt insgesamt sechs Schlafplätze und ein helles Badezimmer mit einer kombinierten Waschmaschine/Trockner. Halbwegs offener Küchenbereich, u.a. mit Geschirrspüler ausgestattet. An der Rückseite des Hauses gibt es eine private Terrasse und auch einen Holzkohlegrill. Sie teilen sich ein Grundstück mit dem Hauseigentümer, der sich an derselben Adresse befindet. Der Fluss Dalälven, der sich durch Dalarna schlängelt, ist nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt. Die Gegend ringsum das Haus hat für jeden etwas zu bieten, unabhängig von der Jahreszeit. Im Sommer können Sie in einem der nahe gelegenen Seen angeln oder auf einem der vielen Wanderwege in der Umgebung wandern. Im Winter gibt es fantastische Möglichkeiten zum Skifahren auf den nahe gelegenen Pisten oder entlang der präparierten Loipen.
